Angie McDaniel brings an immense breadth and depth of experience to her clients in Northern Virginia. Her experience is unmatched. With 28+ years as a Navy spouse, raising 5 children during multiple deployments, and moving all over the country, she knows how to think outside the box to solve nearly any problem and execute real estate solutions swiftly. She has bought, sold, and managed her own homes since 1998 and knows firsthand the difficulty in finding quality property management as well as the challenge of selling when you are across the country or across the world! In 2013, she started Command Property Management, and later the Command Properties team, to bring a high level of service and excellence to the industry and to be the solution for others with the same challenges.
Angie’s 10+ years of experience as a trusted Realtor and Broker has garnered her the reputation as a mentor and advisor for other Realtors and a valued leader in real estate in Northern Virginia and beyond. Angie brings this experience and the team of resources she has built over the years to provide exceptional service to her clients. Command Properties is currently the preferred property management company in Northern Virginia for Keller Williams Realty in Alexandria, Arlington, and Tyson’s Corner. Angie is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Residential Property Managers. She has a B.A. from San Diego State University in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a specialization in Communication. Aside from homeschooling her children for 10 years while constantly moving, plus starting a business as an active-duty spouse, her proudest accomplishment is raising 5 successful adult children and remaining a close-knit family despite the difficulties of the military lifestyle.
Co-Owner and Realtor, Rich McDaniel
Full service real estate comes second nature to Command Properties co-owner Rich McDaniel. As a career Navy veteran with over 28 years of experience, Rich has moved around the country 20 times with his wife and 5 children. He has been an owner/landlord since 1998 and has immeasurable experience leading people and solving tough problems as Commanding Officer of a guided missile destroyer, USS STERETT (DDG 104) and Naval Station Norfolk, the world's largest Naval Base, where his command hosted 65,000 people, 59 ships, and 187 aircraft.
Rich is a native of Jackson, Tennessee and attended the University of Memphis, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. A 2006 distinguished graduate of the Naval War College in Newport, R.I., he earned a Master of Arts degree in National Security Affairs and Strategic Studies. His other accolades include being a graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College (2013) and Federal Executive Fellow at the Brookings Institution where he earned a Certificate in Public Leadership from Washington University in St. Louis and the Brookings Executive Education program (2013). Rich belongs to the National Association of Realtors and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors.
Rich knows firsthand what it is like to move to a new area and be faced with the challenge of finding a quality place to live. He understands the challenges associated with owning real estate, transferring to a new duty station, and selling or renting the property as a long-distance landlord. As a career Surface Warfare Officer who built a reputation on someone who does things right the first time, his life experience and commitment to excellence makes him an invaluable resource to anyone considering a real estate transaction.

MJ Medsger
Director of Field Operations
MJ is an integral part of the Command Properties team. She holds a BS degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is both a military spouse of 15 years and a current member of the Air National Guard. She has lived and traveled all over the world. Having owned rental properties in both Georgia and Ohio since 2010, MJ understands the complexities of being a long-distance landlord and trusting in others to ensure your property is taken care of. MJ enjoys going above and beyond for Command Properties homeowners and treats every property as if it were hers.
Sherrie Stanley
Assistant Operations Manager
Sherrie is a graduate of Texas A&M and has been an active duty Air Force spouse for over 20 years. She has lived in multiple locations in the southern and eastern U.S. and even spent a few years in Japan. As both tenant and home owner during her travels, Sherrie is intimately familiar with the challenges faced by both. She is passionate about helping others and strives to provide the best customer service possible!
